Apple Afterschool Enrollment Request 2023-2024
Note: Apple Afterschool fall school year begins Tuesday, August 15, 2023
What is the easiest time to gain admission ?
Due to Covid-19 this is the first time in many many years that our 28-year-old school has a small wait list!
During Apple Summer Camp, which can guarantee a fall space. To guarantee a fall space families may either A) attend a minimum of 10 summer camp days for a fall 5-day space, 8 Camp Apple days for a fall 4-day space, 6 Camp Apple days for a fall 3-day space, or 4 summer camp days for a fall 2-day space OR B) pay 1/2 tuition to hold a space without attendance (this space will then be offered to a student in need). Students guaranteed a fall space will be contacted to confirm their choices for spaces in August and do not need to pay the first month's tuition until August. New families who did not attend camp may return their fall applications with the materials and registration fees (checks will not be cashed until a space becomes available and after visiting parents and teachers agree enrollment is in the best interest of the child(ren). Once enrollment is agreed upon fees and tuition become due and are non-refundable.
What happens after I submit an application for a fall space?
After your application with fall materials and registration fees received, you will be contacted to arrange a 15-20 minute visit. You and your student will be shown around our campus as we get to know each other initially. After visiting we encourage parents to speak with their child(ren) at home and facilitate a conversation about their thoughts on possible attendance at Apple; it is important that students want to attend as the best interest of our students is always at the forefront of everything we do.
Do we need to send materials fees and tuitions to apply?
Yes. To apply, please use the online enrollment form (or contact us if you need assistance getting one) and be sure to include the appropriate fall and/or summer materials and registration fees as well as the first month's tuition (note: only August tuition is billed at 1/2 regular tuition as our first day will be August 15). Please note, we will NOT cash any checks until after the visit with your student(s) has been completed and it has been determined by both teachers and parents that enrollment is in the best interest of the child(ren). Once enrollment has been agreed upon tuition becomes due and fees are no longer refundable. With the exception of August tuition which is pro-rated, tuition is billed monthly and remains consistent through May of the following year. Please note as well: If needed we will also work with families needing a different payment schedule (and will accept post dated checks) as long as it is arranged in advance.
